Yes, no comparison. Home kits are typically water- or solvent-based epoxies with an acid wash prep, a few decorative flakes and no clear coat. Our floors are all commercial grade -the very same floor we would install in an automotive dealership service center. We always do a full mechanical prep via dust-free diamond grinding, repair any cracks or divots, use only 100% solids resin-based epoxy, use 50 pounds of decorative flakes per 500/sf and seal the floor with a Polyaspartic clear coat.
